Glastonbury, Somerset | 29 August – 2 September 2026

A new chapter begins in one of Britain’s most mythical landscapes, as The Love Festival comes to Glastonbury in 2026 under the stewardship of leading tantra practitioners Richie Moore and Joey Tabone - reimagined as a powerful, consent-led retreat for connection, self-discovery and community among men who love men and rebranded as The Love Festival.

Set within the ancient heartland of Avalon, where myth, ritual and landscape have long intertwined, the five-day gathering – formerly known as The Tantra Love Festival -  invites attendees into something deeper than a festival. This is a carefully held space for exploration, intimacy and spiritual growth—guided by some of the world’s most respected tantra facilitators, and rooted in practices that honour both personal boundaries and collective wellbeing.

In a time where many LGBTQ+ men are seeking deeper IRL connection beyond surface-level interaction, The Love Festival arrives as both refuge and catalyst—offering a space where vulnerability is not only welcomed, but celebrated.

Richie Moore, co-founder of The Love Festival and conscious leadership practitioner, said:“There is a growing need for spaces where men can step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect - with themselves and with each other - in a way that feels genuine and grounded. What we’re creating here is not about performance or expectation, but about exploration, friendship and shared experience. In Glastonbury, a place steeped in myth and meaning, we’ve found the perfect setting to hold that kind of space - safe, intimate and deeply human.”

Joey Tabone, founder of LoveJoyTantra and long-standing facilitator within the international tantra community, added:“This festival has always had a strong foundation, but we saw an opportunity to evolve it - to bring even greater clarity around consent, to broaden the programme, and to deepen its spiritual offering. For many men, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, there are still limited spaces where intimacy, touch and self-expression can be explored without judgement.

The Love Festival meets that need with care, with structure, and with heart.”

Held at the EarthSpirit Centre in Compton Dundon , just a few miles outside Glastonbury, the retreat takes place within what many regard as a sacred landscape - long associated with healing, transformation and the legendary Isle of Avalon. It is a location that lends both symbolism and substance: a place where participants can step outside the everyday and into a more reflective, connected state.

Across five days, guests will experience a rich and varied programme of workshops and practices, as outlined in the festival’s FAQ and schedule, including tantra, breathwork, conscious touch, meditation, movement, creative expression and facilitated group work.

International practitioners will lead sessions designed to support both personal insight and shared connection, with space for both depth and play.

The festival is intentionally drug and alcohol free, encouraging presence and clarity throughout. Participation is always optional, with attendees invited to engage at their own pace within a clearly communicated framework of consent and mutual respect.

Designed as an intimate gathering of around 120 participants, The Love Festival prioritises community, safety and meaningful interaction - offering an alternative to larger, more commercialised events.

At its core, this is not about spectacle. It is about connection—with self, with others, and with something larger.
