Leicester Marriott Hotel Reveals Stunning Transformational Refurbishment Whilst Showcasing Superb Ne

Leicester Marriott Hotel has revealed its high-end refurbishment, which has seen the full hotel undergo substantial and stylish changes as well as the introduction of state-of-the-art technological facilities to enhance the stay of both business and leisure guests.

As part of the refurbishment, the experienced team at Leicester Marriott Hotel has built on its reputation for strong service by enhancing the flexibility of the facilities as well as the experience of delegates and conference bookers.

This new approach to booking and managing events is summed-up by the concept: Meetings Made at Marriott - Meetings Made Simple. Made Rewarding. Made Effortless. With dedicated meetings experts, innovative and delicious food and beverage options to cater for every taste, the hotel is perfectly positioned to look after guests’ needs.

Commenting on the hotel’s newly redesigned and flexible product, Hotel Manager Rajesh Chahar said:

When we opened 12 years ago we knew it would be a popular hotel for conferences due to our size and flexibility of conferencing and meeting spaces. But the number of new enquiries and bookings since the renovation has really exceeded our expectations. The major investment, particularly in the redesign of the Grove Suite, our largest conference and banqueting space which can seat up to 400 attendees with ease and intuitive technology, enables us to position ourselves as markets leaders” he said.

Those facilities include innovative ideas such as the Marriott Meetings App – a first for the city - which gives organisers the ability to manage their event without ever leaving their seat, connecting planners and hotel teams on any web-enabled device in real time, 24/7. Organisers can even communicate with the Marriott events team instantly via the app so that they can focus on what matters most; delivering the best experience for their delegates.

Other areas of technology include ClickShare, the wireless, plug and play presentation system that allows multiple users to stream to the same TV; perfect for meetings. Electronic Room Signage and Write on Wall technology features in some meeting rooms for confidentiality, as well as collaborative breakout areas to inspire social interaction and conference engagement.

The 227-bedroom hotel, conveniently located by the junction between the M1 and M69, and just ten minutes from Leicester City Centre, has welcomed over 300,000 conference delegates across its 20 meeting rooms since it opened its doors in May 2006.
