County Creatives Come Out In Force For The Leicester Makers Market On Sunday 6th May At Leicester’s


Leicester’s monthly Makers Market returns on the first Sunday of May to the city’s New Market Square from 11am – 4pm giving savvy shoppers the chance to bag some truly unique and individual items including the finest local food, drink, art and crafts from the county – all originating from here in Leicester making it truly unique and local.

This month’s Makers Market will host high quality, artisan makes, bakes and creates including:

Clean: Handmade products for sensitive skin and mixed-race hair using 100% natural ingredients with no harsh chemicals or preservatives. Each one has been chosen for its holistic and health benefits to help contribute to your overall sense of wellbeing.

Lily & Butterfly: Handmade sterling silver jewellery, upcycled cutlery jewellery as well as hand dyed and painted children’s clothing and bags.

Lmor Creations: Earrings and Necklaces using semi-precious gemstones, pearls and glass beads as well as clocks made from old CD's and Records with mixed media such as wallpaper, buttons, puffy stickers and fabrics to make each clock different in design.

Lwfused Glass: A range of fused glass art made in Leicestershire with items ranging from glass coasters through to my specialised pieces of wall art.

Native Kanza: Fashion and Jewellery that is made up of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces, beautifully handcrafted with personality! Native Kanza was conceived from passion for travel and the love of native image.

Woodland Gems: Handmade bronze, copper, mineral and gemstone jewellery using their own metal clays that they make to their own recipe from scratch. This month at the market they will be making bracelets and brooches.

Makers Market takes place on the New Market Square (former site of Indoor Market), Leicester.
