COVENTRY BID TEAMS UP WITH EUROVIA TO SUPPORT CASH FOR KIDS CAMPAIGN

In a year where many families have faced unimaginable stress and hardship, the Mission Christmas Cash for Kids Campaign 2020 is more poignant than ever. Coventry BID are proud supporters and have partnered up with Eurovia to donate £500 to Cash for Kids ahead of the festive season.


Mission Christmas is part of the wider Cash for Kids initiative, providing donations and gifts for disadvantaged children throughout the UK. Last year alone, Cash for Kids collectively raised over £20.9 million, supporting more than 1 million children.


Trish Willetts, Coventry BID Director, commented: “We, as a BID team, are incredibly proud to not only support this wonderful charity initiative with our great friends at Free Radio, but to also be in a position to donate some additional funds alongside another wonderful partner of ours in the city.”


“The resilience, hard work and determination our businesses have shown throughout this year has been truly awe-inspiring, and now it’s time to spread that kindness a little further and help make Christmas special for children who need it the most.”

John Stratton, Cash for Kids Regional Charity Manager – Midlands, said: “This year, possibly more than any other, Mission Christmas is a such an important campaign for us at Cash for Kids. No-one wants to think of a child waking up on Christmas morning with no presents to open and given what a difficult year 2020 has been for so many children, they deserve some festive magic. A Christmas gift may seem so small, but for a child it shows that someone is thinking of them, someone cares, it’s so powerful.”
